El centro industrial y de ensayos de Stadler en Albacete generará 80 empleos y fortalecerá la economía de la ciudad.

Stadler’s new high-capacity testing and industrial production center in Albacete, with an investment exceeding 13 million euros and the creation of 80 direct jobs, has been praised by the government of Castilla-La Mancha for its high added value. Patricia Franco, the regional Minister for Economy, Companies and Employment, emphasized the importance of this project for the railway mobility sector, stating that it will put Albacete at the forefront of high technology and will be a significant addition to Stadler’s already strong international presence. The plant is expected to open in the first quarter of 2024, with 3-4 additional indirect jobs generated for every direct job created. The project received support from the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Albacete’s direct rail connections to seven other regions, and the availability of ADIF’s rail infrastructure in the area. Albacete’s mayor, Emilio Sáez, hailed the project as a tremendous opportunity and a significant step towards establishing the region as a leading figure in intermodality and rail logistics.
